Salary: £79, 143.34 plus £4,702.80
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Finance and Digital Improvement to join Ark.
We are seeking a permanent Director of Finance and Digital Transformation to lead a strategic programme focused on long-term financial sustainability and digital innovation. This is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to drive organisational change, embed digital solutions, and ensure robust financial planning.
The successful candidate will also play a key developmental role by coaching and mentoring the Head of Finance, who manages the day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic financial leadership and insight to the Executive Team and Board.
· Lead on financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
· Lead transformation initiatives focused on financial sustainability and digital innovation.
· Oversee and support the Head of Finance and ICT teams.
· Embed and optimise the Rubixx finance system and other digital platforms.
· Deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
· Support organisational change and continuous improvement.
· Engage with key stakeholders including regulators, banks, and local authorities.
· Champion risk management and governance best practices.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant senior-level finance experience and a proven track record in leading financial and digital transformation.
