Salary: £26,552.07 per annum
Hours: 32 hours per week (full-time, worked over 4 days)
Location: Edinburgh Office (Hybrid - 2 days at home / 2 days on site)

A hybrid role combining IT support & digital systems with finance, with space to learn and grow.
Ark is recruiting a Finance & Digital Assistant to join our Finance & Digital Improvement team. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in IT, digital systems, and how technology support organisations, alongside an interest in finance and business processes, who is keen to develop their skills within a supportive and purpose-driven organisation.
The role plays an important part in supporting Ark’s digital and financial systems, helping ensure our IT services, processes and information are reliable, efficient and responsive to the needs of our staff, tenants and supported people.
From April, Ark’s Corporate Services teams work a 32-hour full-time working week over four days, giving you more time outside of work while remaining fully engaged in a meaningful and varied role.
About The Role
Working closely with colleagues across ICT and Finance, you’ll provide day-to-day support that helps keep Ark’s systems running smoothly, including:
Providing front-line ICT support, including helpdesk tasks, password resets and device rollouts
Supporting the maintenance of ICT records, documentation and asset registers
Assisting with basic network administration, monitoring and troubleshooting
Responding to digital and IT-related queries from colleagues
Alongside this, you’ll also support key finance processes, including:
Purchase and sales invoicing, payment runs and ledger administration
Responding to finance-related queries from colleagues
Supporting managers with accurate financial and operational information
You’ll also get involved in improvement activity, identifying opportunities to streamline digital and finance processes, and will support specific projects as required.
About You
We’re keen to hear from people who:
Have an interest in IT, digital systems or technology, with an openness to learning finance processes
Enjoy problem-solving and supporting colleagues with systems and processes
Are organised, accurate and comfortable handling confidential information
Can work well as part of a team while also managing their own workload
Have good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
An IT qualification is desirable though not essential - we’ll support you to develop the skills and knowledge you need.
